LibCal SOP

You will need to enable two Microsoft integrations in order to display as a booking option in LibCal. These integrations allow students to schedule appointments with you and allow the system to include Microsoft Teams meeting information upon booking.

Part I: Microsoft Teams Integration

  1. Log into LibCal and click on your email address in the navigation bar. This will take you to your LibCal account settings page.

     
  2. Click on the Integrations tab.

     
  3. In the Microsoft Teams box, click the Authorize with Microsoft Account button. If you are not already signed in to your Microsoft account, you’ll be prompted to do so.

     
  4. Once the integration has been completed, you will get a message that says Authorized Microsoft account [your name (your email)].

Part II: Microsoft Outlook Integration

  1. Log into LibCal and click on Appointments.

     
  2. Click on the Integrations tab.

     
  3. In the Outlook/Exchange Settings box, click the Authorize with Microsoft Account button. If you are not already signed in to your Microsoft account, you’ll be prompted to do so.

     
  4. Once the integration has been completed, you will get a message that says Authorized Microsoft account [your name (your email)].
  5. In the Calendar drop-down, choose Calendar.
  6. Leave the Check Outlook/Exchange Busy Times set to Yes.
  7. Leave the Set Created Outlook/Exchange Meetings to 'Private' to No.
  8. Click Save.
