Library Hacks

Build a list of companies by selecting from the criteria listed on the homepage. Select an SIC or NAICS code to limit to a specific industry, select a country of incorporation, and use the number of employees or minimum revenue to define the size of companies to include in your list. Once you have your list, use the Output Option button to select the information you would like to export into a spreadsheet.

Select the Industry and then Membership tabs to find a list of companies within an industry sector or subsector (for example, Airlines is a subsector of the Travel & Leisure sector). From the Summary Data drop-down menu, choose Select Membership Report to display the type of comparison data (i.e., price performance, profitability, or debt ratios) for each company listed.

Market Atlas is great for researching public companies. If you’re researching a private company, use Mergent Intellect.
