The University of Phoenix is part of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society’s (HIMSS) Academic Organizational Affiliate (AOA) program. HIMSS is a health care industry’s membership organization focused on transforming health through information and technology.
As an Academic Organizational Affiliate, we have the opportunity to extend HIMSS individual membership to you at no cost.
If you already have a HIMSS student membership and would like to convert it to the free program or if you would like to join for the first time, please use the HIMSS OA Member Sign-Up Tool. To receive your free membership, you must use your university email address when signing up. After you complete your online AOA HIMSS membership, you will be given a unique membership number that will be linked to your school. You will always be able to retrieve the individual member number by logging into the HIMSS Member Center with the username and password set up for the membership.
